Vitter Announces Grant for Tulane University Healthcare Program

U.S. Senator David Vitter (R-La.) today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is awarding a grant to Tulane University for the Ryan White Part C Outpatient EIS Program.

"Making sure Louisianians have access to affordable and necessary healthcare services is always a top priority, and I am glad to see this important, effective program at Tulane University receive support that will help Louisianians -- especially the medically underserved -- in the years to come," said Vitter.

The Ryan White Part C Outpatient EIS Program will receive $531,385 to support outpatient HIV early intervention and primary care services, which specifically serve low-income, medically underserved Louisianians.
